Location

The villa is a few kilometres from Arezzo, in Valdichiana, a region of eastern Tuscany widely renowned for being the place of origin of the Chianina breed.

A stay at the villa offers the opportunity to visit the Renaissance town of Monte San Savino and Lucignano, a small town of medieval origin. A ride along the so-called Sentiero della bonifica is a must for those who love bike jaunts. The trail runs along the Maestro della Chiana channel and connects Chiusi to the so-called Chiusa dei Monaci, near Arezzo.


Description

Standing atop a hill, the villa affords wonderful views of nearby Arezzo and the Valdichiana.
The private swimming pool (irregular form, 16x8 m; depth: 1.20-3 m) that lies in scenery location in the fully fenced wide garden that surrounds the house features a whirlpool area. A dressing room with a toilette, two showers and a small kitchen corner are in a shed a few metres from the swimming pool. The large solarium area is equipped with a pergola.
The porch in front of the house is furnished with table and chairs from dining al fresco.

The property comprises also a small church dating from the 7th century.

Many famous Tuscan cities of art, such as Sansepolcro, Arezzo, Cortona, Firenze and Siena are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day jaunts.

The owners of the villa leave nearby and are glad to help their guests in case of need.

The two-storey building is divided into four apartments connected through internal doors but is considered a single rental unit; it can accommodate 8 guests in 4 double bedrooms and has 4 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of living room with fireplace, dining area with kitchen corner, storeroom, a second dining room with kitchen corner, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
A staircase in the second dining area leads to a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower on the first floor.
From the living room, two steps up and then two steps down lead to a third dining area with kitchen corner.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower.
A living room and dining area with kitchen corner are two steps above.

The villa comes with swimming pool with whirlpool area, dressing room with toilette and two showers, barbecue, air conditioning, fireplace, Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, oven, microwave oven, freezer, toaster, American-style coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed and private car parking space.
A domestic help is available upon request.
Wine, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and spirits tasting experiences are organised upon request.
