Description

In the origin a medieval sighting tower, the stone-and-brick holiday villa stands in panoramic position on the hills of Valdichiana, in Montecchio di Cortona (Arezzo). The windows of the villa open onto Cortona and Valdichiana. Renting the villa is an excellent solution for those who love art and culture: Sansepolcro, Arezzo, Cortona, Chiusi della Verna and Siena are within a few kilometres. Lake Trasimeno, too, is within easy car distance.

In the 8000-square-metre park that surrounds the building is the private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 1.50 m). The pergola in front of the swimming pool is furnished for having meals al fresco, and in the garden are also the barbecue equipment, a sunshade, some tables and some sun loungers.


Accommodation

The three-storey building sleeps 9 people in 2 double-bedded rooms, 1 twin-bedded room and 1 triple bedroom, and has 3 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, living room with wood-burning oven and fireplace, a twin-bedded room and a bathroom with shower and washing machine.

On the first floor are two large double-bedded rooms (one with ensuite bathroom with shower), the Finnish sauna and a bathroom with shower.

The second floor consists in a triple bedroom with marble wash-basin and access to a panoramic balcony.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, barbecue, fans, air conditioning on the second floor, wood-burning oven, satellite TV, DVD player, Internet connection, Finnish sauna, fridge, freezer, American-style coffee-maker, moka coffee-maker, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer and private covered car parking place.
At guests` disposal: some bicycles.

Cafes, a minimarket, a bakery and a hairdresser are 1.2 kilometres from the villa.
Restaurants, a post office, banks and shops are 3 kilometres from the estate.

About 15 kilometres from the villa are a golf club and the Valdichiana Outlet Village.
