Location

The holiday villa is located in Val d'Orcia, a region of southern Tuscany that UNESCO declared a World Heritage site in 2004.

Its rolling hills are covered with vineyards for the production of one of the most famous wines in the world: the Brunello di Montalcino. In this region is produced also an excellent pecorino cheese.

Val d'Orcia is an ideal destination for relaxing spa holidays at Bagni San Filippo and Bagno Vignoni thermal baths.


Description

Perched in a scenery location on the hills of southern Tuscany near Campiglia d'Orcia (Siena), the villa is decorated with a wonderful ancient oak floor and brick and beamed ceilings and furnished in a cosy style.

The property is an excellent departure point for visiting Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, Radicofani, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena and the spa towns of San Casciano dei Bagni, Bagni San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni and Chianciano Terme, which are all within short driving distance.

The private swimming pool (16x4.5 m; depth: 1.40 m) is equipped with a salt-water purification system and an outdoor shower.
The outdoor space in front of the kitchen is furnished for dining al fresco.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-storey building that can accommodate 8 guests in 4 double bedrooms and has 5 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen with fireplace/barbecue, dining room with fireplace, living room with fireplace, laundry room, a double bedroom and two bathrooms with shower.
On the first floor are a large living room with fireplace and three double bedrooms with private bathroom (two with shower and one with whirlpool bathtub).

One of the bedrooms on the first floor is lofted.

The villa comes with swimming pool, barbecue, outdoor shower, fireplace, Internet connection, oven, freezer, microwave oven, American-style coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, whirlpool bathtub, cot bed and private car parking space.

Some thermal baths are 5 kilometres from the villa.
