Location

The villa is situated between Lucca and Pisa, not far from Versilia, the coastal region in northwestern Tuscany renowned for its beaches and the seaside resorts of Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio and Torre del Lago.

Still a favourite holiday resort of many Italian politicians and sports and showbiz stars, Versilia is also an area of culture: every year, its hosts such important events as the Festival Puccini - dedicated to the famous composer Giacomo Puccini - and the theatre and dance festival at Villa La Versiliana, where the Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio lived for some time at the beginning of the 20th century.
In winter, Viareggio hosts one of the most important carnival celebrations in Europe.


Description

The cosy villa is a building dating from the first decades of the 20th century surrounded by a fully fenced garden.
The private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.30 m) equipped with an outdoor shower lies just a few metres from the house.
A veranda by the poolside is furnished with deck chairs and sun loungers, whereas a terrace next to the villa is equipped with a big parasol and a table for having meals in the open air.

The recently renovated villa features some original architectural elements, such as the stairs made of local stone, the joisted ceilings, the fireplace and the windows.

Thanks to its strategic position, the villa is an excellent departure point for visiting Lucca and Pisa and for spending some hours on the beaches of Versilia. Many other Tuscan cities of art and Abetone skiing resort are within short driving distance.


Accommodation

The three-storey building can accommodate 6+2 guests in 1 twin bedroom, 2 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 2 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, the living room, a storeroom and a bathroom.
The first floor composes of a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom with whirlpool bathtub.
On the second floor are a double bedroom and a mansard room with a double sofa bed.

The villa comes with swimming pool, outdoor shower, barbecue, working fireplace, satellite TV, Internet connection, stereo system, oven, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, whirlpool bathtub, washing machine, ironing equipment, cot bed and private parking place for four cars.
A cook and a domestic help are available upon request.
Four bicycles are at guests' disposal.
