Description

The villa is immersed in the countryside south of Siena, in the village of Monticiano and is the ideal accommodation for art and culture lovers, who can visit many renowned Tuscan cities, including Colle Val d`Elsa, Siena, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Pienza and Arezzo, as well as the famous abbey of San Galgano and the adjacent chapel of Montesiepi. Around the villa stretch woods and meadows for pleasant walks and horseback, mountain-bike and quad rides in the Tuscan countryside. Those who want to dedicate to their body can visit the spas in Bagno Vignoni and Rapolano Terme.

The enthralling landscape in which it is immersed makes the villa an excellent location for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

A wide garden furnished with tables and chairs surrounds the two buildings that compose the estate. Here lies the private swimming pool (11x6 m; depth: 1.25-1.55 m). The water in the swimming pool is disinfected with natural salt and by the pool side stands a shelter furnished with deck chairs and sun loungers.
In the garden there are also the barbecue equipment and a gazebo commanding the swimming pool and furnished for having meals al fresco.

A welcome aperitif is offered to guests upon arrival. In case of need, guests can contact the owners of the villa, who live nearby.


Accommodation

The villa sleeps 18 people in 7 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms and 2 single sofa beds, and has 10 bathrooms.

The building with the common rooms composes of kitchen, breakfast room and large living room.
The second buildin is divided into five apartments. Each apartment has a living room and an equipped kitchenette. All of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Apartment 1: four double bedrooms, a single bedroom and five bathrooms.
Apartment 2: a single bedroom and a bathroom.
Apartment 3: a double bedroom and a bathroom.
Apartment 4: a double bedroom, two single sofa beds and a bathroom.
Apartment 5: a double bedroom and a bathroom.


Facilities and Services

The villa is provided with swimming pool, barbecue, ceiling fans, working fireplace, Internet connection, fridge, freezer, kettle, oven, microwae oven, espresso coffee maker, dishwasher, hairdryer, iron and private parking place for six cars.
Some cot beds and some bicyles are at guests` disposal.
The following services are supplied upon request: laundry; fine art photographic portraits; Shiatsu/relaxing massages; organization of walks and horseback, mountain-bike and quad rides; activities for children and baby-sitting; organization of weddings and ceremonies.
Guests have the possibility to buy olive oil, wine and other typical local products.

Restaurants, cafes, banks, a post office, a chemist`s, shops and services of any kind are in Monticiano, 500 metres from the villa.
A tennis club is 15 kilometres from the estate.
A riding stable and a golf club are within 20 kilometres.
