Description

An expanse of woods and the valley below: this is the stunning panorama the windows and the garden of the villa situated in Civitella in Val di Chiana, in the province of Arezzo, open onto.

Staying at the villa guests will have the opportunity to visit Arezzo, the town of gold, of the Chimera (the original bronze statue representing the mythological monstrous female creature with the body of a lioness, the tail ending in a snake`s head and the head of a goat at the centre of her spine is housed at the Archaeological Museum of Florence, whereas in Arezzo a reproduction is to be admired) and of the celebrated fresco cycle by Piero della Francesca "The Legend of the True Cross".

The wide park that surrounds the building is divided into an orchard, an olive grove and various meadows. In the park, guests will have the opportunity to see roes, squirrels and other animals of the woods.

On a terrace a few metres from the villa lies the private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 1.10-1.60 m), provided with an external shower and exclusively reserved to guests.

In front of the kitchen is a paved area furnished with table and chairs for guests to have their meals in the open air.


Accommodation

The two-storey building can accommodate 8+2 guests in 4 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed; the villa has 3 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of entry loggia, living room with dining area, porch to access the living room, kitchen, reading room with double sofa bed, and a bathroom. A cellar and a laundry room are connected to the kitchen.
The sleeping area is on the first floor and composes of four double bedrooms (two open onto the loggia and one has a balcony), and two bathrooms.
