The Etruscan tomb of Montecalvario and the Etruscan necropolis of Poggino are a few kilometres from Castellina in Chianti.


Description

The villa is part of a property that comprises vineyards and olive groves. Guests have the opportunity to taste and purchase the locally produced wine and oil.

The picturesque villages of the Chianti region, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa, Volterra and Arezzo are within easy driving distance of the villa.

A wide garden furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco surrounds the house.
The private swimming pool (13x6 m; depth: 1.50 m) lying on a lower level than the building affords gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside.


Accommodation

The two-storey building can accommodate 12 guests in 5 double bedrooms and 2 single sofa beds, and has 6 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and another bathroom with shower.
The first floor is divided into two wings, which are accessed from the living room and the dining area, respectively. The wing accessed from the living room consists of a suite with a double bedroom, a living room with a single sofa bed and a bathroom with shower. The wing accessed from the dining area composes of a suite with a double bedroom, a living room with a single sofa bed and a bathroom with shower, and two more double bedrooms with their private bathroom with shower.

All of the bedrooms are air conditioned.
