Description

The ancient villa stands on a hill in the Crete Senesi region, in Monteroni d`Arbia, near Siena. The 13th-century building is surrounded by a panoramic garden of about 3,000 metres bordered with a hedge. In the garden are a gazebo, some tables, some chairs and the private swimming pool (10x4 m; depth: 1.50 m), which is at guests` disposal from May 1st to the end of September and is equipped with sun loungers.

Recently renovated, the villa is part of a farm of about 700 hectares committed to breeding and to the cultivation of cereals and olive trees.

In proximity to the villa is Poggio Napoleone, whence a magnificent view over the Crete Senesi region, the town of Siena and Monte Amiata is to be admired. Some thermal baths, a golf club and some tennis courts are just a few kilometres from the villa. Archaeology lovers can visit the Etruscan excavations near the estate. Last but not least, thanks to its geographical position the villa is an excellent departure point for excursions to Montalcino. Siena, Pienza and San Gimignano.


Accommodation

The two-storey building sleeps 14+1 people in 4 double-bedded rooms, 3 twin-bedded rooms and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 5 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the equipped kitchen, an entry hall with kitchenette, the dining room, a double-bedded room with an ensuite bathroom with shower and a toilette.

The first floor is divided into three bedrooms with two single beds that can be united to create a double bed, three double-bedded rooms and three bathrooms with shower.

A supplementary single can be added in any of the bedrooms on the first floor upon request.

The French door in the dining room opens onto a porch of about 50 metres furnished with tables and chairs for having meals al fresco, in which is also the barbecue equipment.

The villa comes with private swimming pool, barbecue equipment, fans, Internet connection, fridge, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer and private car park.

In Vescovado di Murlo, about 3 kilometres from the estate, are a post office, a supermarket, some banks, a chemist`s, restaurants and pizzerias.
A bus stop is about 150 metres from the estate.
Some tennis courts are within 5 kilometres.
A golf club is within 15 kilometres.
A thermal resort is about 20 kilometres from the estate.
