Description

The farmhouse is situated in San Gusmè, in proximity to Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the province of Siena, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, Siena, Val d`Orcia and the Chianti district are easily reached by car.

Situated in the complex of Villa Arceno, the house is part of a farmhouse free on three sides. Guests can visit the 16-hectare park of the 18th-century villa, the woods and the vineyards in the estate, as well as taste the wines produced in the nearby winery.

Recently renovated and furnished in an elegant rustic style, the farmhouse is surrounded by a garden of about 2,000 square metres reserved to the exclusive use of the guests and furnished with tables, chairs, deck chairs and a sunshade.

About 50 metres from the building is a fenced swimming pool (16x5 m; depth: 1.20-3 m) to be shared with other two portions of the same complex. The swimming pool is open from May 15th to September 15th and is furnished with sun loungers and sunshades.

The farmhouse comes with a wisteria pergola furnished for having meals al fresco.


Accommodation

The two-storey building sleeps 4+2 people in 1 double-bedded room, 1 twin-bedded room and 1 double sofa bed, and has 3 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of equipped kitchen with fireplace; large living room with fireplace, satellite TV and a double sofa bed; two bathrooms with shower.

On the first floor are a double-bedded room, a room with two single beds that can be united to create a double bed and a bathroom with shower.


Facilities and Services

The farmhouse comes with a swimming pool to be shared with other two portions of the same complex, working fireplaces, wireless Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, dishwasher, microwave oven, washing machine, hair dryer, safe and covered car parking place.
Baby-sitting and maid services are available upon request (additional charges apply).

A post office, cafes, a restaurant and a food shop are in San Gusmè, about 1.5 kilometres from the estate.
Other shops and services are in Castelnuovo Berardenga (4 km).
