Location

The farmhouse is located near Montevarchi (Arezzo), in Upper Valdarno.

Upper Valdarno is the name of a wide area of Tuscany that stretches in the provinces of Arezzo and Florence, in which flows the most important Tuscan river: the Arno.

The most renowned place of tourist interest in Upper Valdarno is certainly the Benedictine abbey of Vallombrosa, situated in the homonymous forest. Nature lovers will find particularly interesting the cliffs of Castelfranco Piandiscò and Bandella Nature Reserve.

The Museum of Santa Maria delle Grazie in San Giovanni Valdarno houses a beautiful "Annunciation" by Beato Angelico. Worth a visit are also the medieval towns of Castelfranco di Sopra and Loro Ciuffenna, as well as the many churches and castles scattered between Arezzo and Florence.

Perched on a hill, the farmhouse affords a wonderful view of the ridge of Pratomagno and the valley of the Arno River.
Arezzo, Colle Val d'Elsa, Florence, the Chianti region and many other Tuscan cities of art and tourist destinations are within easy driving distance.

A fully fenced garden equipped for having meals and relaxing in the open air in the quiet Tuscan countryside stretches around the recently renovated building.
The private swimming pool with a bathroom with shower, the barbecue equipment and a basketball/tennis/volleyball pitch are at guests' disposal in the garden.


Accommodation

The two-storey building with terracotta-tiled floors, brick arches and beamed brick ceilings can accommodate 12 guests in 1 double bedroom, 2 triple bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms and has 4 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen with direct access to the garden, dining room, large living room with fireplace and direct access to the garden, home office, storeroom and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are two triple bedrooms (one with a private bathroom with shower), a twin bedroom that can be converted into a double bedroom, a double bedroom with access to a room with a bunk bed and from there to a bathroom with shower, and a bathroom with whirlpool bathtub.

The access to the ground floor is from both the garden and the parking area, through inner stairs.

The farmhouse comes with swimming pool, external bathroom with shower, barbecue, tennis/volleyball/basketball pitch, air conditioning, fireplace, Internet connection, radio/CD player, video cassette recorder/DVD player, microwave oven, oven, freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, whirlpool bathtub, cot beds, high chairs and private car parking space.
A cook and a domestic help are provided upon request.
Cooking lessons and wine tasting events are organised upon request.
