Description

Oak woods, century-old cypress trees and 40 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and orchards surround the farmhouse situated 3 kilometres from the historic centre of Arezzo, the town of Etruscan origin where in 1553, during the construction of the Medicean city walls, was found the famous "Chimera" (a bronze statue representing the homonymous mythological monster).
Nature lovers can have pleasant walks and horseback or mountain-bike rides along the many paths that stretch around the estate. Art and culture lovers can go at the discovery of the treasures housed in the castles and churches of Casentino as well as in Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo, Monterchi and Sansepolcro, or visit Florence and Siena.

A few metres from the building lies the private swimming pool with whirlpool area (14x7 m; depth: 1.40 m) exclusively reserved to guests. Guests can also taste the fruit produced in the estate for free.
A wood-burning oven and the barbecue equipment are at guests` disposal in the garden, where is also a table for having meals in the open air while admiring the surrounding countryside.


Accommodation

The farmhouse can accommodate 8+3 people in 2 twin bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and 3 supplementary single beds; it has 3 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.
On the ground floor are some rooms for private parties and events, a bathroom and a half bathroom.
The first floor is divided into two independent apartments that can be united to form a large apartment. The apartments are accessed through an external staircase and both consist in a living room, a kitchen, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Three supplementary single beds can be added in the bedrooms.

The farmhouse comes with swimming pool with whirlpool area, wood-burning oven, barbecue equipment, air conditioning, Internet connection, gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot beds and private car parking space.
A maid service and a cook are supplied upon request.

A cafe, a food shop, a pizzeria, a wine shop and a church are 1 kilometre from the farmhouse.
A riding stable is 3 kilometres from the estate.
A tennis club is 4 kilometres from the property.
