Location

The farmhouse is located in a very peaceful area in Valdorcia, a region of southern Tuscany that stretches in the provinces of Siena and Grosseto and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004.

Valdorcia is also the land of such celebrated wines as Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and Rosso d'Orcia, and of famous cheeses, such as the pecorino of Pienza.

Scattered with charming medieval villages, the territory of Valdorcia is also rich in waters with therapeutic properties and thermal resorts, such as Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo.


Description

The stone farmhouse stands in scenery location a few kilometres from Sarteano. Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena, Abbadia San Salvatore, Radicondoli and Arezzo are within easy driving distance. Some thermal baths are within a few kilometres of the property.

The wide garden that surrounds the house is fully fenced.
The private swimming pool (9x4.5 m; depth: 1.70 m) is a few dozen metres from the building.
The property comprises also a vegetable garden, which is at guests' disposal.


Accommodation

The two-storey building with brick and beamed ceilings, brick arches and terracotta-tiled floors can accommodate 7 guests in 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 triple bedroom, and has 2 bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, living room with fireplace and access to the veranda, a storeroom, the dining area and a half bathroom.
On the first floor are a passageway room, a double bedroom, a triple bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub, a twin bedroom with private half bathroom and a bathroom with shower.

The veranda has a direct access to the garden.

The farmhouse comes with swimming pool, barbecue, air conditioning, fireplace, satellite TV, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, cot bed and private car parking area.
A domestic help is available upon request.
Tuscan dinners are organised upon request.

Shops and services of any kind and some thermal baths are 4 kilometres from the property.
