Location

The cosy farmhouse is a beautiful stone building situated near Castiglion Fiorentino (Arezzo), in Valdichiana.

Valdichiana is the name of a region in south-eastern Tuscany that stretches in the provinces of Siena and Arezzo. In the past it was inhabited by the Etruscans and the Romans, as demonstrate the many archaeological finds brought to light near Arezzo and Cortona.

The castle of Gargonza, the town of Lucignano, with its characteristic elliptical plan, and Cortona are really worth a visit.


Description

The small farmhouse is surrounded by a beautiful garden with barbecue equipment and a wood-burning oven. The private swimming pool (12x5 m; depth: 1.50 m) a few dozen metres from the house overlooks the surrounding countryside. A bathroom with shower is in the garden, as well.

The ideal accommodation for relaxing holidays in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, the farmhouse is also an excellent departure point for visiting important cities of art, such as Sansepolcro, Arezzo, Cortona, Anghiari, Siena and Florence. A tennis club, a riding stable and a golf club are within a few kilometres of the property.

The two-storey building with beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors can accommodate 5 guests in 1 single bedroom and 2 double bedrooms and has 1 bathroom.

On the ground floor is the living room with fireplace, kitchen corner and dining area.
The first floor composes of two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
