Villas at the Sea

Description

The villa is part of a 70-hectare estate that stretches on the hills that surround Lucca, in Monsagrati. The building leans against a hill, following its slope, and is surrounded by a wide private garden in which are a gazebo provided with a night lighting system and the private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.20 m), furnished with sun loungers, deck chairs and sunshades. The swimming pool is reserved to the use of the guests and is open from May to mid-October.

In the past the villa was the oil-mill of a farm. After having been renovated with an eye to preserving its charming original character, the villa has been furnished merging rustic style and modern design.

Thanks to its geographical position, the villa is an excellent departure point for excursions to the mountains of the Garfagnana, but also for visiting Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Pistoia. Lido di Camaiore, Marina di Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi and the other beaches of the Versilia are within easy driving distance.


Accommodation

The two-storey building offers a livable surface of 240 square metres and 8+2 sleeping accommodations in 2 double-bedded rooms, 2 twin-bedded rooms + 1 double sofa bed, and 3 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of two entrances, large kitchen, living area with stone fireplace, dining area, and laundry room with toilette.

On the first floor are two double-bedded rooms, two twin-bedded rooms and two bathrooms with shower.
A double sofa bed is in one of the double-bedded rooms.

The garden is accessed both from the kitchen and the first floor.


Facilities and Services

The villa is provided with private swimming pool, wireless Internet connection both in the house and in the garden, satellite TV, working fireplace, fridge, freezer, crockery, pots and pans, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothes-horse, table-tennis table, wine rack with wine list, safe, uncovered private parking place.

A cook, a baby sitter and some bicycles are supplied upon request (additional charges apply).

Bike excursions, guided tours, ceremonies with catering service, tastings, beauty treatments, cooking lessons, shuttle and helicopter shuttle services are organized upon request (additional charges apply).

Shops and services of any kind are in Monsagrati, about 2 kilometres from the estate.

A bus stop is about 2 kilometres from the villa.
