Villas at the Sea

Description

The villa is situated in Stiava, in the municipality of Massarosa (Lucca), just a few kilometres from Viareggio, Marina di Pietrasanta, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi, in Versilia. Garfagnana, Lunigiana, Lucca and the tourist destinations in the Apuan Alps are easily reached for one-day trips.

Standing in panoramic position on the Versilia hills, the villa enjoys a wonderful view over the valley below and the sea breeze that makes it particularly cool during the whole day.

The estate is fully fenced and includes a garden, an olive grove, some vegetable gardens, some fruit trees and a lemon-house. An aviary is at the back of the building.

In the garden, which is reserved to the exclusive use of the guests, are a wood-burning oven/barbecue, a gazebo and a table sitting 14 people. A children's swimming pool (4x2 m; depth: 1 m) is in front of the house.

Guests can taste the agricultural products cultivated in the nine terraces at the back of the villa.

In the neighbourhood are a riding stable, some tennis courts and a golf club. Guests can also rent some boats.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-storey building; it sleeps 8+2 people in 2 double-bedded room, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 room with a super single bed and 2 supplementary single beds for children, and has 2 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

The ground floor is divided into entry hall, fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, living room with fireplace, one double-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with bathtub with shower, and a half bathroom.

On the first floor are one double-bedded room, one bedroom with two single beds that can be united to form a double bed, one bedroom-study with a super single bed, and a bathroom with bathtub with shower.

Two single beds for children are added in the double-bedded room on the first floor upon request.


Facilities and Services

The villa is provided with swimming pool, wood-burning oven, barbecue, working fireplaces, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo system, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and private car parking place.
Toys for children are supplied upon request.
A maid service and some bicycles are at guests` disposal.
A baby sitter and a cook are available upon request (additional charges apply).

Restaurants, pizzerias, banks, chemist`s, shops and services of any kind are about 150 metres from the villa.
