Location

The house is a portion of a small villa situated near Riparbella (Pisa), in Val di Cecina.

Val di Cecina is a region that stretches in the southern part of the province of Pisa, along the river Cecina, to whom it owes its name. Steep gullies, almost inaccessible mountains and gentle hills sloping towards the plain near the mouth of the river Cecina form the variegated landscape of the region.

The most important town in Val di Cecina is Volterra, the town of alabaster; however, the whole valley is scattered with small and interesting historical villages, such as Guardistallo, Bibbona and Montecatini in Val di Cecina.


Description

The house is part of a complex of eight recently-built apartments situated in panoramic position. The windows and the garden of the small villa afford views of the Tuscan coast and the isle of Elba.

The house has a terrace furnished with the barbecue equipment and a table for guests to have their meals al fresco, and a private garden.

Guests are granted the use of the swimming pool of the complex (10x5 m; depth: 1.40 m), which is equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs and sunshades.

The house is a few kilometres from the beaches of Marina di Cecina and the Etruscan Coast, and is an excellent accommodation for those who want to visit important Tuscan cities of art, such as Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca and Florence, which are within easy driving distance.


Accommodation

This portion of a small two-storey villa can accommodate 5+2 guests in 1 single bedroom, 2 double bedrooms and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 2 bathrooms.

On the first floor are the living room with a dining area and a kitchenette, a double bedroom with a supplementary single bed and a bathroom with shower.
The basement composes of a single bedroom with a second pull-out single bed, a passageway double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

The house comes with swimming pool shared with the other villas of the complex, barbecue equipment, satellite TV, VCR/DVD player, Internet connection, oven, American-style coffee maker, freezer, juicer, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed, high chair and private car parking space.
Dinners with Tuscan dishes are organized upon request.
A baby sitter and a maid service are supplied upon request.
