Location

The 18th-century villa stands on the hills around Montepulciano (Siena), in Valdichiana.

Valdichiana is a region in south-eastern Tuscany that stretches in the provinces of Siena and Arezzo. Its hills covered with vineyards and olive groves are scattered with charming medieval villages and churches. Valdichiana is renowned for its gastronomic specialities - the famous Chianina meat, Sinalunga sliced meats and pecorino cheese -, its extra-virgin olive oil and its great wines. In Valdichiana are also some celebrated thermal towns, such as San Casciano dei Bagni and Chianciano Terme, and the wonderful nature reserve of the lake of Chiusi.


Description

The elegant building with spacious rooms furnished with antiques is ideal for peaceful and relaxing holidays immersed in the colours, flavours and fragrances of the Tuscan countryside. Those who want to devote to their well-being can visit the thermal baths just a few kilometres from the villa. Sporty guests can devote to their favourite sports at the tennis club, riding stable and golf club nearby. Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Montalcino, Arezzo, Cortona, Florence and many other Tuscan cities of art are within easy driving distance.

The 800-square-metre park that surrounds the villa is split in various areas: an Italian garden, an English garden, a pinewood and a holm-oak wood.
A small church stands next to entrance to the villa, whereas the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.40-1.60 m) lies about 150 metres from the building, in a part of the garden with high bushes and statues.
In the garden are also the barbecue equipment and a table for having meal in the open air.


Accommodation

The three-storey building accommodates 16 guests in 5 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 triple bedroom and 1 single bed, and has 6 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, lounge/dining room, living room, small study, storeroom and a half bathroom.
On the first floor are a study, a sitting room, a twin bedroom, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The second floor consists of a triple bedroom, a single bedroom, three double bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Five bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom.

The villa comes with barbecue, swimming pool, TV set, CD player, Internet connection, working fireplace, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed and private car parking space.
Maid and breakfast services and a cook are supplied upon request.

Shops and services of any kind are 2 kilometres from the villa, as well as a tennis club.
Thermal baths are 8 kilometres from the estate.
