Location

The villa is located in the countryside west of Florence, near Empoli.

This part of Florence countryside is rich in interesting small towns that are still almost neglected by mass tourism. Vinci, which hosts a museum dedicated to Leonardo, who was born there, Montelupo Fiorentino, renowned for its ceramics, and Certaldo, Giovanni Boccaccio's town, are within a few kilometres from the villa.

The Tuscan countryside was also a favourite holiday resort of the rich noble and aristocratic Florentine families, who had many vacation villa built there. The most famous are the Medicean villas of Artimino, Cambiano, Cerreto Guidi and Poggio a Caiano.

A few kilometres eastward, stretches the production area of Chianti Montespertoli DOCG and Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG.

Description

The villa standing in a residential area just 25 kilometres from Florence historic centre is an elegant building furnished in modern style and surrounded by a wide garden.
The private swimming pool (15x7 m; depth: 0.60-1.50 m) a few metres from the house is exclusively reserved to guests.
Guests are allowed the use of the barbecue equipment and can have their meals under a wide loggia furnished with table and chairs.

Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo and the Chianti district are easily reached both by car and by public transport, especially by train.

In case of need, guests can contact the owners, who live in the vicinity.


Accommodation

The two-storey building accommodates 8 guests in 1 twin bedroom and 3 double bedrooms, and has 3 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, living room with dining area and fireplace, two double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom with whirlpool bathtub and shower and one with ensuite bathroom with shower) and a twin bedroom.
On the first floor are a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

The villa comes with swimming pool, barbecue equipment, fireplace, piano (can be used only upon request), satellite TV, DVD player/recorder, whirlpool bathtub and shower, oven, fridge with ice maker, freezer, espresso coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine and private car parking space.

Shops and services of any kind and a railway station are 2 kilometres from the villa.
