Location

The welcoming small villa stands on the Chianti hill, near Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence.

Chianti is a vast region stretching between Florence and Siena rich not in vineyards and olive groves for the production of the DOCG red wine and the extra-virgin olive oil renowned all over the world, but also in places of tourist interest: Greve in Chianti, with the church of Santa Croce and a museum dedicated to wine; the medieval fortified town of Barberino Val d'Elsa; the fortress of Castellina in Chianti; the so-called Albergaccio del Machiavelli in Sant'Andrea in Percussina, where Niccolò Machiavelli lived. Near San Casciano in Val di Pesa there are the Etruscan "tomb of the archer" and the castles of Bibbione and Gabbiano.


Description

Due to its geographical position in the heart of Florentine Chianti, the property is an excellent departure point for one-day jaunts to Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and the whole Chianti Classico region. Other Tuscan cities of art, such as Arezzo, Pisa and Lucca, are within easy driving distance.

The villa is a small two-storey building. Both storeys have a direct access to the outside. The recently renovated house is part of a property that comprises a vineyard and an olive grove.
A beautiful garden equipped with a masonry barbecue, a table and chairs for dining al fresco surrounds the building.
The panoramic swimming pool (13x6 m; depth: 1.30-2.10 m) features a whirlpool area.

The owners of the villa live nearby and are glad to help their guests in case of need.


Accommodation

The two-storey building can accommodate 4 guests in 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom and has 1 bathroom and 1 half bathroom.

The ground floor composes of dining area with kitchen corner and fireplace, living room overlooking a wonderful panorama and a half bathroom.

On the lower floor there are the laundry room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom that can be converted into a double one and a bathroom with shower.

All the rooms have a direct access to the outside.
