Location

The villa is a few kilometres from Montespertoli (Florence), a small town lying on the hills of Chianti.

Mainly renowned for the homonymous wine produced there, Chianti is a region in central Tuscany rich in history and culture. Along with the many castles scattered on the gentle hills covered with vineyards and olive groves - the castle of Verrazzano is the place where the explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, the first European to discover New York Bay, was born in 1845 -, many churches are worth a visit, including the Pieve of Sant'Appiano in Barberino Val d'Elsa, the Basilica of Santa Maria in Impruneta and the Pieve of San Cresci in Greve in Chianti.


Description

The cosy villa is the result of the renovation of a barn located in an ancient hamlet. The wide garden that surrounds the building is equipped for dining in the open air in the utmost privacy and enjoying the wonderful view of the surrounding hills.
The swimming pool a few dozen metres from the house (6x11 m; depth: 1.20-1.60 m) is to be shared with the guests of the other apartments of the hamlet. An external shower is near the swimming pool.


Accommodation

The two-storey building can accommodate 6 guests in 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom and 1 double sofa bed, and has 2 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are a living room with a double sofa bed, the dining room with kitchen corner (two steps below the living room and with a direct access to the private garden) and a bathroom with shower.
The first floor composes of a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.


Facilities and Services

The villa comes with swimming pool, external shower, satellite TV, fireplace/barbecue, oven, freezer, washing machine, cot bed and private car parking space.
A domestic help is available upon request.
