Location

The villa is situated near Montespertoli (Florence), in the Chianti region.

Chianti is the name of a wide area in central Tuscany, in which is produced the homonymous red wine, widely renowned all over the world. The Chianti district is divided into various sub-regions, the most famous being the Chianti Classico sub-zone, which stretches between Florence and Siena. The sub-region Chianti Montespertoli was created in 1996 and is the most recent one.

Although it is mainly renowned for the red wine produced in its territory, the Chianti is also a region of great tourist interest, rich in beautiful churches and charming medieval villages, as well as in villas that once belonged to the most important Tuscan aristocratic families and have now been transformed into farms that organise delicious food-and-wine tastings.


Description

The villa immersed in the peaceful Tuscan countryside is the ideal accommodation for those who dream of relaxing holidays; at the same time, it is an excellent departure point for visiting the towns in Empoli countryside (Vinci, Montelupo Fiorentino and Certaldo), the whole Chianti region, San Gimignano, Siena and Florence. Florence historic centre is just some 20 kilometres from the villa and is easily reached by bus.

The villa furnished in rustic style is surrounded by a wide garden in which are the above-ground swimming pool (7.30x3.60 m; depth: 1.20 m) and the barbecue equipment.
The loggia is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco.


Accommodation

The villa can accommodate 8+1 guests in 4 double bedrooms and 1 supplementary single bed, has 2 bathrooms and composes of kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining area, four double bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and a bathroom with shower.

A supplementary single bed can be added in one of the bedrooms upon request.
The living room and one of the bedrooms have a direct access to the loggia.

The villa comes with above-ground swimming pool, barbecue, working fireplace, microwave oven, oven, freezer and private car parking space.

Shops and services of any kind and the stop of the bus leading to Florence historic centre are in Montespertoli, 5 kilometres from the villa.
