The villa is located on the hills south of Florence, near Montespertoli and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in the production area of Chianti Montespertoli DOCG wine.

Around the property stretches the so-called Chianti Montespertoli Wine Road, featuring many wineries and restaurants that serve the famous red wine renowned all over the world and delicious Tuscan traditional dishes.

Montespertoli Wine Museum, the medieval village of Lucardo and the church of San Pietro in Mercato with the adjacent Museum of Sacred Art are well worth a visit.


Description

Situated on the Chianti hills, just a few kilometres from the most famous Florentine monuments, the villa is surrounded by an outdoor space on two levels: on the upper level stretches a well-tended meadow, whereas the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.50 m), the barbecue equipment and a veranda furnished for dining in the open air are on the lower one.

Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra, Pisa, Colle Val d'Elsa and many other places of historic, artistic and cultural interest are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips.


Accommodation

The two-storey building furnished in Tuscan traditional style - which in origin was an ancient barn - can accommodate 8 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 2 bathrooms. Both storeys are accessed from the outside.

The main entrance is on the first floor, together with the living room with a double sofa bed and the fireplace, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
The ground floor is accessed from the swimming-pool level and composes of the dining area with a kitchen corner, a double bedroom (with a direct access to the outside) and a bathroom with shower.

The villa comes with swimming pool, barbecue, satellite TV, fireplace, microwave oven, oven, wood-burning oven, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed and private car parking place.
A domestic help is supplied upon request.
