Description
The elegant villa stands on the hills south of Florence, in an area called "Paradiso degli Alberti", about 3 kilometres from Ponte Vecchio. Florence historic centre is easily reached by bus, which stops next to the villa. Alternatively, guests can reach Florence most important monuments on foot in about 25 minutes.
The 14th-century building is surrounded by a wide garden featuring olive and fruit trees, where squirrels and pheasants are sometimes to be seen.
Among the terracotta pots that decorate the lawn lies the private swimming pool (5x10 m; maximum depth: 2 m), which is partly suitable for kids. The pool side is furnished with deck chairs.
In the summer guests can have their meals al fresco in the garden furnished with tables and chairs.
Accommodation
The complex (sleeping 12+3) consists in the main villa and an annex.
In the event that guests decide not to use the annex, it will remain vacant and guests will enjoy the exclusive use of the whole estate.
The main villa accommodates 10+1 guests in 5 double rooms (3 with dedicated bathroom) and 1 sofa bed in the living room.
The large rooms can be arranged with a double bed or with two single beds, depending on the guests` needs.
The annex sleeps 2+2 guests and composes of kitchen, 1 double bedroom (either with two single beds or with a double bed, depending on the guests` needs), 1 double sofa bed and a bathroom.
Facilities and Services
The villa is provided with garden, swimming pool, air conditioning in two bedrooms, portable air conditioners, wireless Internet connection, satellite TV, working fireplace, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave oven.
Two bicycles are at the disposal of guests.
Baby-sitting and maid services are available upon request.
Shops and services are about 500 metres from the villa.
In proximity to the villa is a supermarket with home delivery service.
Florence historic centre, Santa Maria Novella and Campo di Marte railway stations are easily reached by bus.
