The luxurious 19th-century villa is located in Certaldo (Florence), a picturesque village in Empoli countryside, halfway between Florence and Siena. The building stands atop a hill and has a magnificent view over the surrounding countryside. Surrounded by 13 hectares of land rich in century-old cypress and olive trees, the villa has recently undergone a conservative restoration. The private heated swimming pool (18x4 m; depth: 0.50-1.90 m) equipped with a gazebo and some sun loungers overlooks San Gimignano hills. Two barbecues and two gazebos furnished for having meals al fresco are at guests` disposal in the garden.

The villa is situated at the centre of Tuscany, which makes it an excellent accommodation for those who love art and culture, who will have the opportunity to visit many important Tuscan towns, including San Gimignano, Vinci, Florence, Volterra and Siena. Nature lovers could have long walks and horseback or bike rides in the neighbourhood of the villa. Those who want to keep fit can visit the tennis club a few kilometres from the estate. Guests can also visit Gambassi Terme and its thermal baths.


Accommodation

The three-storey building sleeps 18+2 people in 4 double bedrooms, 5 twin bedrooms and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 10 bathrooms.

The luxury villa composes of well-equipped kitchen, dining room, billiard room, TV room, three rooms with two single beds that can be united to form a double bed and ensuite bathroom, four double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, two rooms with two single beds that cannot be united and ensuite bathroom, and a tenth bathroom. In case of need, two supplementary single beds are supplied upon request (additional charges apply).

Seven bedrooms are on the first floor, one is on the ground floor and the ninth is on the second floor.

A bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub and the other nine ones are equipped with a shower.

A riding stable is 1 kilometre from the villa, a tennis club is within 5 kilometres and a golf club is within 10 kilometres.
Gambassi Terme and its thermal baths are 10 kilometres from the villa.
