Description

The villa stands in panoramic position 400 metres above sea level near Reggello (Florence), on the hills that surround the capital of Tuscany. Guests can have relaxing walks and long bike rides in the peaceful woods that stretch around the property. Recently renovated and furnished in period style, the 19th-century villa is just a few kilometres from the Abbey of Vallombrosa.

The private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 1.40 m) situated in the 5000-square-metre garden is surrounded by a large solarium area. The small loggia adjacent to the swimming pool has a half bathroom.

The private tennis court at the back of the building is equipped with a lighting system. At the back of the villa is also a wide shady area where guests can relax admiring the peaceful Tuscan countryside.

Guests can have their meals al fresco on the wide panoramic terrace that commands the valley of the Arno River and the Chianti hills.


Accommodation

The three-storey building sleeps 14 people in 2 twin bedrooms, 4 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 5 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, a living room with TV set, a music area with upright piano, a second living room with fireplace and the dining area.

The first floor is divided into a billiard room with reading area and gaming table, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom with a large panoramic balcony, a second double bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub and two bathrooms with shower.

The second floor composes of a twin bedroom, a single bedroom (with possibility of adding a supplementary single bed), two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower.

The villa is equipped with private tennis court, swimming pool, barbecue, table-football table, satellite TV, DVD player, Internet connection, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed, bicycles and private car parking place.
A maid service, a cook and a baby-sitting service are supplied upon request.

Food shops, a butcher, cafes and hairdressers are in San Donato in Fronzano (500 m), whereas the nearest restaurant is 1 kilometre from the villa.
A riding stable is 1 kilometre from the estate.
