Farmhouses

Description

The farmhouse is situated in the Chianti Classico region, in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, between Florence and Siena. The independent building is surrounded by 5 hectares of olive groves and vineyards. The house has been recently renovated using artisanal materials and with an eye to the typical character of the farmhouses in the Chianti region. With its ancient stone fireplace, wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors, the farmhouse is furnished in an essential style and features some antiques.

The private swimming pool (4x9 m; depth: 1.35 m) is in the wide garden that surrounds the building. The swimming pool is about 10 metres from the house and is open from June to September. The garden is furnished with deck chairs, sun loungers, sunshades, gazebo with a table sitting eight people and the barbecue equipment.


Accommodation

The three-storey building (240 m²) sleeps 8+3 people in 3 double-bedded rooms, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 double sofa bed and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, a large living room, a library and a relax room with fireplace and double sofa bed.

The first floor composes of a storeroom and two double-bedded rooms with ensuite bathroom.

The second floor consists in a double-bedded room, a twin-bedded room, a bathroom with shower and a bathroom with bathtub.

A supplementary single bed can be added in any of the bedrooms upon request.

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, working fireplace, board games, satellite TV, Sky channels dedicated to cinema and children, DVD player, Internet connection, stereo system with radio, oven, microwave oven, freezer, reverse osmosis water filter, kettle, steamer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, private car parking place.

Supermarket, typical restaurants, pizzerias, banks, chemists`, shops and services are in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (5 km).
Some tennis courts and riding stables are in proximity to the estate.
