Location

The farmhouse is in San Polo in Chianti, in Florentine Chianti, a few kilometres south the Tuscan capital town.

The Chianti district is a wide region stretching in central-eastern Tuscany, between Florence and Siena. The Chianti area has been inhabited since Etruscan times and is scattered with charming castles and wonderful medieval churches.

When speaking of Chianti, however, the first things that come to mind are its gentle green hills and the homonymous wine produced there. Staying in the Chianti region guests will have the opportunity to discover many small and charming towns still relatively unknown to mass tourism, such as Castellina, Radda, Gaiole, Greve, Impruneta, Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa and Montespertoli, as well as the possibility to taste the famous red wine and the Florentine extra-virgin olive oil right in the place where they are produced.


Description

Thanks to its strategic position on the hills south of Florence, the farmhouse is an excellent accommodation for those who want to visit the Tuscan capital town while living far from the hectic city life. Florence is just about 20 kilometres from the farmhouse and is easily reached by car, like many other Tuscan tourist destinations, including Arezzo, Siena, Pisa, the whole Chianti area and the small towns in Valdichiana and Mugello.

The wide garden that surrounds the recently renovated building furnished in Tuscan rustic style is equipped with a table for guests to have their meals al fresco.
A few metres from the farmhouse lies also the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.50 m), which is exclusively reserved to guests.
The garden and the windows of the house afford a magnificent view over the surrounding olive groves and vineyards and nearby Florence.


Accommodation

The two-storey building can accommodate 12 guests in 3 twin bedrooms and 3 double bedrooms, and has 3 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of living room with dining area and fireplace, kitchen, passageway room, laundry room, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are two twin bedrooms, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower.
The first floor features also a panoramic terrace.

The farmhouse comes with barbecue equipment, swimming pool, working fireplace, satellite TV, Internet connection, microwave oven, oven, freezer, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, cot bed and private car parking space.

Shops and services of any kind are 4 kilometres from the estate.
