Villa Borromeo certainly stands out for its antiquity and beauty. Surrounded by green cypress trees, the villa stands near San Casciano in Val di Pesa and has an excellent restaurant where you can end your visit.
Not far from Villa Borromeo stands Villa del Cigliano, surrounded by a magnificent garden. The villa belongs to the Antinori family. You will have the opportunity to visit also its wine cellars.
Villa Le Corti is situated in San Casciano, as well. It belongs to the Corsini family and houses valuable sculptures and paintings. You can visit its two chapels, the wide park and the unfailing historic wine cellars.
It is impossible not to mention the beautiful Renaissance Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte (literally, half hill), which owes its name to the fact that it was built halfway to the top of a hill. The villa belonged to the Medicis, who commissioned the many frescoes, the gorgeous garden and the valuable ceiling decorations... Spellbinding!
Villa Chigi Saracini is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga and was built only in the early 19th century. Its construction caused the demolition of part of the town`s city walls.
Last but not least, not far from Villa Chigi Saracini stand Villa Geggiano and the more recent Villa di Monaciano.
