This Church is very old and it dates back to the X century. It was built in the place of an old monastery where St. Ambrose, the famous archbishop of Milan in the IV century, stayed during his visit in Florence. The façade of the Church of S. Ambrogio dates back to the XVIII century. In the Church it is possible to see the tombs of various artists like Mino da Fiesole, Verrocchio and Il Cronaca.
