Nightlife in Pisa
Your night in the town of the Leaning Tower begins around 19.00, aperitive or happy hour time.
Here we cannot make a list of the venues where you could spend the night in Pisa: we would risk forgetting some interesting places. Suffice it to say that most of the restaurants, bars and other night venues are in Borgo Stretto and in Piazza Cairoli. In the Net, however, and especially in students` forums, you will find plenty of useful information and advice (apart from the distance of the various venues from your Pisan villa or apartment).
As far as dinner is concerned, in Pisa you will find plenty of pizzerias and osterias, elegant restaurants and ethnic fast foods.
Beer lovers will find a British-style pub in Piazza delle Vettovaglie.
At the end of this page, we want to give you just two more tips.
One: if you have planned your holiday in a villa in Pisa in the summer, you absolutely have to go to the Versilia. Capannina, Bussola, Twiga Club...: these are just some of the clubs where you could meet some sports and show-biz celebrities.
Two: if, apart from having a good coffee or an aperitive, you want to "breathe" the history of Pisa, do not forget to visit the Caffè dell`Ussaro. It is situated in Palazzo Agostini - or Palazzo Rosso, as it is called due to its colour -, along the River Arno, and it was patronized by celebrities of the calibre of Carducci, Mascagni, Montanelli and Terzani.
